How it all began
- Since I was 2 years old I spent several times in the mountains every year that saved my health. At the age of 15 I stopped going to the mountains... At 31 I have again begun to discover the old familiar places and I have started to go to the mountains which I didn't visit when I was a small boy, along with the possibility to take photos with a digital camera. In 2006 after 20 years I came back to Slovakia. Nowadays, I go to the mountains more often, there are places which allow me to relax and clean up my thinking. I can come back again and again to these places thanks to the photographs which I have managed to capture... and I hope that next time the light might be better.
- I started to take photos in 2003 and my first camera was Olympus 720UZ. I have begun to understand the secret of digital photography with this camera. At first I took photos of everything until the first holidays in West Tatras where I was totally amazed by the beauty of these mountains. Finally, this moment has decided what I am going to be interested in... and it is taking photos of landscape. In other words, constant hunting of good light within the bounds of possibility of family trips and occasional one-man actions.
- In 2007 I started to be interested in DSLR, but then I decided to buy Panasonic FZ8. I have experienced a lot with this camera and I have also learnt to use other programs than only the AUTO. I started to play the square ND grad filter and I tried to learn basic photo editing.
- Since the autumn 2009 I have again started to read article and reviews about DSLR and dreaming about buying one. In October 2010 I made final decision to buy Nikon D90 with great lens 16-85VR. I also got a tripod Giottos MTL 9251B with a ball head MH1311.

Photographs - I use RAW which I process in Capture NX2. Also Zoner Photo Studio 18 PRO is my favourite one and I consinder it very good due to its complexity and especially price.
